Canned goods
– peaches, corn, peas, spinach, yes, spinach, that shit is healthy, beans, fuck, better just get one of each

Dry goods
– more beans, they last forever and we have no idea how long this will last, salt, bleach, seasoning, noodles, rice, flour? Maybe but I don’t really know what to do with it, never made a loaf of bread in my life, note: recipe book

Water
– that one is easy, anything that doesn’t have fluoride

Filters for the well
– that water is drinkable today but who knows? They might decide to contaminate it, better take a look at my medical supplies

Candles
– I like candles, so soft, little glittering reminders of time spent near the fireplace reading books and sipping hot chocolate while snowed in, better get some blankets, and firewood, and a wood burning stove

Lantern oil
– I hate that shit but it works, reminds me of being snowed in without a fireplace, better get wicks too, and check the glass on the lanterns, don’t want last minute surprises

Wicks
– yeah, I already said that, get a grip man,

Generator
– it’s old but worthy, but old, dammit, I need to at least look at prices for a new one, might be good to have a backup anyway

Fuel
– fuel for the generator, for my truck, for my portable stove and heater, crap, better get propane too

Locks for the shed
– those heavy duty round ones do a good job so long as I’m also keeping an eye on it, gold, or silver, I don’t know, better look into that, gonna need some sort of currency when the system collapses

Surveillance for the shed
– cameras, motion sensor lights, maybe one of those big sirens I can activate remotely, and a loudspeaker, and deer cameras with motion sensors so I know when someone is sneaking up on me, might want to consider night vision goggles

Ammunition
– lots of it, and maybe a couple cheap guns I can stash in different places, better get a nicer holster for my constitutional carry, and a decent long range rifle, better spend some time at the range while I’m at it, night vision goggles

Man, I’m glad I watched that video. I never would have thought of half this stuff.
